I found this shriveled leaf at a local garden and took it home to shoot in my studio. I used two continuous lights in softboxes on with a black background. The leaf had such a character and reminded me of a mummified seahorse.

The Metal Lamp image was taken in January 2026. The bare bulb burned brightly and the shadows were interesting, especially because there are two tabs creating a nice shadow. I improved the contrast and decreased the “whiteness” inside the bulb. Taken hand-held.
