Liability Insurance: Would cost $475 – $500 and be of limited value unless negligent. The club has limited assets thus limited exposure. Recommended obtaining a quote from Hartford and presenting to the board. The protection would be for members being sued and fund abuse. Our lease says nothing.

Survey: Survey Monkey is set up. We need to come up with the questions to ask.

Ideas for the Future:

  • Look into exhibiting at Zed’s coffee house on Georgia and Thayer. Need a committee to decide how they should be framed if they should be offered for sale.
  • Phil will look into Walter Reed as a possible place to exhibit.
  • Dave Mullen agreed to organize the Portraits event.
  • Income Opportunities: The projector sale did not come through, and Dave Mullen will relist on eBay.

Open Discussion:

  • Attrition last year:  We lost 30 members and picked up 30 members.  Many of the new members came from Meetup.  Mark will send an exit survey.
