Image 1 of 10

This image was taken near Fort Lauderdale at the Wakodahatchee Wetlands in January. This female green iguana was lunching on white flowers about one third to one half of an inch in diameter. I was hoping that I would be able to get some jaw action. To my surprise, when she opened her mouth, the flower was intact! I turned to the two folks next to me and remarked that I could go home now because I had taken the shot for the day. The use of highlight and shadows in PhotoShop was important in illuminating the flower and its foliage.

This photo was taken outside my hotel room in Minneapolis. I was attending a conference and it was drizzling out, so I did a photo tour in my hotel looking out various windows looking for reflections.

Image 3 of 3

This image was taken from the Olmstead Overlook at the Maryland side of Great Falls. I set my camera up on a tripod and took lots of different images of different parts of the falls, and at different shutter speeds. I liked this one for the flow of the water through the image, and the color contrats between the rocks and water. Taken with a Sony A7rIV and a Tamron 50-400 lens at 90mm. It was a 0.5 second exposure. Printed on an Epson p800 printer on Red River Ultrapro Satin 4 Paper
