Silver Spring Camera Club Board Meeting
January 26, 2023
Location: Zoom Meeting
Start Time: 7:30 PM, adjourned 9.03 PM.
Board Members in Attendance: Catherine Honigsberg, Dennis Freeman, Lisa Auerbach, Marc Auerbach, Tanya Riseman, Norm Bernache, Bruce Schaeffer, Bob Catlett, Will Rabinovich, Larry Gold, and Andrew Rein
Not in Attendance: Frank Gallagher, Phil Boyer, Pete Morton, Michael Koren, and Mark Paster

Treasurer: Bruce reported 76 members today versus 91 last year at this time with 7 being new versus 13 at this time last year. Income is $3,642 and expenses are $2,464 with an operating income of $1,178. The bank balance is $7,947 as of January 26, 2023.

Programming: Due to holidays, We will meet on the 13, 20 & 27th. We will have to move the board meeting.
Cable Release:
Nominations and Selections Committee: No responses from inquires.
Field Trips: Lisa will call Phil regarding his injury and how he is doing.

Competition: Discussed the three levels again. We will send a survey regarding renaming levels….
Also a reminder that when a member joins, they can choose their level and after 36 points, one must move from Novice to Advanced.
Pete will send out a survey regarding the levels and Bruce will call members who are not competing to follow up.

The Constitution was reviewed with the proposed changes and notes were taken. The document has to be reviewed and send out the membership for approval of changes.
Hybrid Meetings are still on hold.
Look into changing the club name to Silver Spring Photography Club. Catherine to contact Michael with logistics.
