Mike Thomas will be our judge for the Open competition on September 13.

Mike’s interest in photography started in 1979 with his father’s Nikkormat.   In  2006, after years in a darkroom, he switched to digital photography.  This year he was awarded Master Photographer by the Bowie-Crofton Camera Club, becoming one of five Master Photographers in the club’s 50 year existence.  Mike has also been awarded Master of Monochrome Photography in the Arundel Camera Club.  He is an amateur photographer who does this for fun.   While his favorite subject is wildlife, he likes to shoot just about anything.
