Jerry Taylor to Judge Red Photography Competition on Feb 14

Jerry Taylor will judge our Red Photography competition on February 14.

Jerry first held a camera when he was about four years old, taking photos of his parents in Druid Hill Park in Baltimore City.

For the first eighteen years of his professional adult life he was a teacher, an Assistant Principal and a Principal. Then for the next twenty-five years he was a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT). With his wife (also a LCMFT) they have traveled to Thailand, Kenya, Indonesia, Myanmar, Romania, and other countries, working with people in refugee camps, schools, churches and other settings for the betterment of communication and life style changes.

What Jerry cherishes most about photographic art is the imagination and out-side-the-box approaches that define eclectic photographic styles. A simple philosophy of his photography is “A Memory – A Story-Stopped in Time®” – Jerry is an eclectic photographer who enjoys life and photographs it from the perspective of finding new ways to view the world around him. He likes to say, “This may have been seen before — but not exactly like this.”  Please visit jerrytaylorphoto.com to view some of his work.  Jerry has completed the PSA and MPA Judging classes.

At times, Jerry will take on a student for one-on-one instruction for one or two days working on Camera Skills or Lightroom Classic Skills. If you are interested in instruction you may contact him at jerrytaylorphoto@gmail.com to arrange dates and times.
