Overview:

Located within Historic Savage Mill, a 19th Century cotton mill beautifully restored and home to the region’s most unique antique center.  It also includes 50 other merchants including home design shops, artists, crafts, fashions and restaurants.

Just outside is the Bollman Iron Truss Bridge, the sole surviving example of a revolutionary all-metal design in the history of American bridge engineering. The 160-foot double-span truss bridge is one of the oldest standing iron railroad bridges in the United States.  This bridge, in turn, crosses the Little Patuxent River to the Savage Mill Trail along the river.
